The Indian Creek CUSD 425 Board of Education approved a comprehensive consent agenda at its Aug. 11 meeting, accepting multiple personnel resignations and advancing second readings of a long list of district policies.
Mark Peterson moved to approve the consent agenda, and Emily Maxwell seconded. The motion included acceptance of resignations from Rachel Wiesemann (district bookkeeper), Tara Faivre (elementary teacher, effective at the end of FY 28–29), Matthew Stallcup (middle school assistant track coach), and others, and the second reading of dozens of policy numbers listed in the minutes. The motion carried by voice vote: six yes, one absent.
The board also approved corrected minutes in a separate motion by Emily Maxwell, again passing by a 6–0 voice vote with one absence. The actions clear the way for staff changes and put the listed policies on track for final adoption in a subsequent meeting.
The approvals were procedural but consequential, authorizing personnel transitions and moving policy updates forward; the board will take any final votes on policy adoptions in future public sessions.
