Ridgway School District outlines campus upgrades and accessibility projects

Representatives from Ridgway School District reported on facility upgrades during the April 8 council meeting. Susan Lacy and Russell Randolph said the district completed theater renovations last year and plans audiovisual-system (AVC) upgrades this year.
The district described potential upgrades to the secondary campus track area — including an outdoor teaching area, concession and seating improvements, an ADA-compliant pathway, a nature play area and terraced seating — and plans for elementary-field hardscaping, dug-out improvements, tree plantings and natural play elements this summer.
