The Jerseyville City Council voted unanimously Dec. 10 to adopt the 2025 Tax Levy Ordinance. Commissioner Anthony Steckel said the levy "included an increase in street maintenance and library share but remained under 5%." Commissioner Zachary Crawford moved the ordinance and Steckel seconded; the motion carried on a roll call vote with all present voting aye.
