The Jerseyville City Council on Oct. 29 approved a series of steps to advance the Hollow Avenue Phase 2 roadway improvement project, including acceptance of appraisals and appraisal reviews, authorization for signatures on associated paperwork, and a commitment of land-acquisition fees not to exceed $45,000.00.
Council also approved an Illinois Department of Transportation joint funding agreement (IDOT Form BLR 05310C) and adopted Resolution #2024-10-29 to formalize the city’s committed local share; the mayor, city clerk, and the Director of Public Works were authorized to sign related documents. The motions passed on unanimous roll-call votes. The director of public works was listed as authorized to execute agreement documents on the city’s behalf.
