The Allotment Committee on Aug. 3, 2026, heard a staff introduction for Lauren Keaton, who joined Boulder City’s Community Development Department in early July as a city planner.
Planning manager Nikisha Lyon told the committee Keaton was born in Las Vegas, raised in Idaho, earned a bachelor’s degree in urban studies from UNLV and began her planning career as a technician with Clark County; she later worked as a planner for the City of Henderson. Keaton addressed the committee and said she was "excited to be here and grateful for the opportunity to...serve the community together."
