The Jerseyville City Council unanimously approved Aug. 20 a TIF Commercial Building Improvement Grant to Fritz Meat and Processing for new signage. Commissioner John Miles moved to approve the grant and Commissioner Anthony Steckel seconded; the council's roll call vote was all aye.
The minutes record eligible reimbursement of $1,162.50, equal to 50% of the estimated project cost. Mr. Ted Prehn was present at the meeting; the TIF Advisory Board had recommended the small-project grant for signage on State Highway 16.
