Jerseyville council approves FY24 audit after Scheffel Boyle presentation

Danny Phipps of Scheffel Boyle presented an overview of the city's fiscal year 2024 audit and provided the council with a copy of the audit report and summary for review. "Presentation of FY 24 Audit ' Danny Phipps of Scheffel Boyle was present to provide an overview of their findings of the audit for FY24," the minutes state.
A motion was made by Commissioner Zachary Crawford, seconded by Commissioner Anthony Steckel, "to approve the fiscal year 2024 audit as presented by Scheffel Boyle." The motion carried on a unanimous vote; the minutes record "all voted aye, no nays, motion carried." The audit presentation and approval took place as part of the council's regular Oct. 1 meeting at City Hall.
