Redfield council approves subsidies to local nonprofits, transit and senior center

Council also approved a $6,500 payment to Area IV Nutrition and a $10,000 annual subsidy to Spink County Transit. The motions were moved and seconded as recorded: the Family Crisis Center payment (motion by Mike Siebrecht, seconded by Brent Derscheid), the senior center monthly payment (motion by Joe Morrissette, seconded by Derscheid), Area IV Nutrition (motion by Jessi Lewis, seconded by Morrissette) and Spink County Transit (motion by Derscheid, seconded by J. Lewis). Each motion carried.
