Engineers Jason Lytle and Andrew Lynch of GMB updated the council that the Pumping Station project's substantial completion date has slipped from Nov. 29, 2025 to a likely January 2026 finish. The delay led GMB to present an amendment to the owner-engineer agreement to provide additional full-time inspection services required by USDA; the amendment was stated to be for an additional $80,430.00 (maximum), with final cost adjusted to services used.
Council members requested documentation from USDA showing full-time inspection is a requirement and tabled the amendment until the December meeting. No vote to authorize spending was taken; the amendment remains under consideration pending the requested documentation.
