Trappe council adopts ordinance to restrict private wells in town

The ordinance amends Section 14 of the town code to prohibit private potable and non-potable wells in town except as specified within the ordinance text read into the record. The town minutes record the ordinance reading and the 5–0 vote. The ordinance was read during the public hearing and again as part of the order of business; the hearing record showed no public comment.
