At the July 21 meeting the Commission amended the fiscal year 2025 budget to reflect actual expenditures through June 30, 2025 and certified an estimated rollback rate of 11.820 mills for Buford City Schools to be provided to the Hall County Board of Assessors for Tax Year 2025.
The Commission also approved renewal of audit services with Wilcox & Bivings, P.C.; authorized an agreement with the Gwinnett County Board of Voter Registrations & Elections for use of election equipment; approved 2025–2026 Gwinnett Municipal Association membership dues of $15,596.12; reappointed Randall Wansley to the Zoning Board of Appeals; and approved a special event on the lawn at the Buford Community Center. All routine consent items passed with unanimous votes where recorded.
These actions complete several administrative and compliance items ahead of fall budget and election activities.
