Board approves $123,374 highway truck purchase; DPW readies village for Ryder Cup

The board approved the purchase of a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 6500 MD for the Highway Department at a cost of $123,374.13, using Onondaga County contract #0011171/0011142. The motion (Resolution No. 2026-09-12) was moved by Trustee Cheryl Parisi and seconded by Trustee Craig Rosasco.
Trustees also declared Highway Dept. #9, a 2012 Dodge dump truck (VIN 3C7WDLBL8CG173890), surplus under Resolution No. 2026-09-13. Separately, DPW staff reported that crews are preparing for the 2025 Ryder Cup, that the North Main Street Pole Removal Project is on schedule (underground excavation complete; Altice in process; Verizon complete) and that the village met with National Grid regarding paving reimbursements for roads where new mains are installed.
