Board President Tony Turri announced that, following closed session, the board voted 4‑0 to implement multiple compensation changes for unrepresented employees and district leaders.
"The Board acted in regards to compensation for unrepresented employees as listed in the closed session agenda item 6.3," Turri said, reporting the substance of the board's action. The board approved a salary schedule adjustment for the Director of Food Services and the Director of Educational Services and authorized one‑time, off‑schedule payments equal to 3% for employees on the Administrative Salary schedule and the Classified Management Exempt and Confidential/Classified Management Non‑Exempt schedules, with exceptions for positions already receiving a salary adjustment.
The board also approved a recurring longevity increment: employees in the Confidential/Classified Management Non‑Exempt and Classified Management Exempt groups who have reached Step 20 will receive a 3% salary increase every three years thereafter. Finally, the board voted 4‑0 to implement a 3% payment to the district superintendent.
The action was announced after the board reconvened to public session at 7:20 p.m. District staff will implement the adjustments and one‑time payments consistent with the board direction. The board did not identify individual employee names in the public announcement.
