Chief Business Officer Melissa Kielpinski requested board approval to submit the district's Consolidated Application for 2025–2026 federal funding to the California Department of Education; Trustee Seth Waltner moved to approve and the board voted unanimously. In the same meeting trustees approved the 2025–2026 Single Plans for Student Achievement (SPSA) for Cedar Continuation High School, Chawanakee Academy, Hillside School, Mountain Oaks High School, North Fork School and Spring Valley School.
Kielpinski described the consolidated application as the district's annual request for federal dollars; the minutes state only that the application was approved and do not list line‑item dollar amounts. The SPSA approvals were also unanimous; the board did not attach conditions or amendments in the minutes and directed staff to proceed with required reporting.
