Dual enrollment program highlighted; counselor says over half of eligible students participate

Counselor Jessica Chacon presented the district's dual enrollment program, which allows high school students to earn both high‑school and college credits before graduation. Chacon said the program "saves time and money for students and increase[s] equity for rural students," and added that "a little more than half of the students participate" while noting freshmen do not take dual‑enrollment classes.
