Sean Parks, the landscape architect, said the team leaves some flexibility in substitutes because of plant availability but agreed to tighten the final planting table. Parks told the board they could provide a simplified final legend and reduce the number of allowable substitutions in the construction‑ready plans.
The board included a site-specific condition requiring definitive species callouts and a size classification (caliper/gallon) for each plant symbol; staff will review the revised tables with one board member before final administrative sign-off.
