Board members requested materials and color samples for visible hardscape components, including the CMU block wall and the picnic structure, to ensure the final construction matches what the board approved in concept. The applicant said the construction documents include material specifications and offered to submit physical samples for staff review.
“Nicolette Womack said the materials are in the construction document set and offered to submit them to staff,” a board member noted, and the board added a condition that material and color selections be provided to planning staff and reviewed by one or two board members before issuing a Certificate of Compliance. Staff also explained the application includes a plant palette and that the approved shrub list will be made available to future commercial lot developers to ensure consistent frontage landscaping.
