CID board awards $7.79 million notice of award for Val Nova grade-separated intersection

A board member moved to approve the notice of award for the Val Nova grade-separated intersection to Concrete Placing Company for $7,787,205.26; the motion was seconded and passed by voice vote. The vote record in the transcript shows unanimous "aye" responses; no hands were recorded opposing or abstaining. The project was described by staff and the developer as a key corridor improvement that will accompany future buildout of Val Nova.
