Museum Director Scott Goetz told commissioners that the Pioneer Museum failed its five‑year pressure inspection for the fire suppression system and that repairs are needed. The board approved a budget hearing request and authorized transferring $2,300 from the Wind River Cultural Centers Foundation to pay for the fire department connection repair; Michael Jones moved the request and Jennifer Wilson seconded. The motion carried unanimously.
Commissioners also approved allocating $10,000 for siding replacement at the Riverton Museum: $5,000 from the Wind River Cultural Centers Foundation and $5,000 from an individual donor. The board recorded both transfers and authorized the museum to proceed with contracting the repairs.
