CTE Pathway Coordinator Emily Brown told the Board that recent investments include workbenches and electrical upgrades for construction, secure storage and small-animal areas at Rodgers Ranch, and the new ag classrooms outfitted with ViewBoards, sinks and a dog wash. She also listed investments in the R-Farm (equipment, supplies, manager salary), fire program equipment and culinary-room planning.
Brown detailed new CTE hires (including Brian Combs as Fire Teacher, Kennedy Kendrick for Early Childhood Education, Megan Parolini and Carly Rice as Agriculture Teachers, and others) and emphasized student credentialing opportunities: "student certifications: OSHA-10, Adobe, Food Handlers, CPR, MC3," which the program is supporting through advisory meetings and teacher professional development.
