Corning Union High board approves change orders for new ag classrooms and security fencing

The Corning Union High School Board on Oct. 16 approved construction change orders for the district’s new agriculture classrooms (COR 33–35) and a change order for security fencing. The motion to approve the ag-classroom change orders was made by Larry Glover and seconded by Reid Lamson; the four members present voted Aye (Tony Turri, Larry Glover, Reid Lamson, Jim Bingham). Cody Lamb was recorded as absent.
Superintendent Miguel Barriga told the Board that the new ag classrooms are finished and that the area around the building is open for parking pending final state approval. The actions taken at the meeting formalize recent work on the project, which was also discussed earlier in the meeting during a construction update.
