SCOE HR reports three paraprofessionals hired, job fair turnout and temporary clearances issued

Garcia said the county office hired three paraprofessionals during the period, noting that all three were former substitutes who successfully transitioned into permanent roles. He reported SCOE held a job fair on October 2 at the Irene Larson campus in Vacaville where 17 individuals took the paraprofessional minimum-skills test and seven interviews were conducted.
Garcia also told the board that SCOE issued temporary certificates of clearance to district partners and charter schools as part of routine personnel processes. Trustees thanked staff for the recruiting work and the report concluded without further action.
