Council approves $128,500 consultant agreement for Pump Station 32 renovations

The council voted to approve a consultant services agreement with Heritage Engineering for design and bid documents related to a force-main diversion, Pump Station 32 renovation and access roads. Staff said Heritage had previously completed the project to the 60% level and that the additional agreement will complete construction plans and bid documents for an amount not to exceed $128,500.
"Heritage Engineering has submitted a consultant's services agreement in an amount not to exceed $128,500. Funds are available in the wastewater and stormwater utility fund," staff said. Councilman Stotts moved to approve; Councilman McEwen seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Staff recommended the work because the pump station renovation and new access roads are necessary for routine sewer maintenance and operational reliability; design and bidding will be completed before construction procurement.
