Council highlights SPOT teen program and summer events; Fountain to Falls run set for Sept. 19

Council member Larry Spicer reviewed the city's summer schedule and youth programming, noting the SPOT program's final teen session and a series of family events. "This event is open to all teens in grades 6 through 12," Spicer said about the SPOT final session and encouraged families to attend upcoming movie and concert events.
Council member Tamela praised the SPOT program based on feedback from parents, saying it has been "such a great thing" for youth and urged residents to contact the community services department with ideas. Council members also reminded residents to register for the Fountain to Falls run on Sept. 19 when registration opens Aug. 17.
