Monrovia library project out to bid; city expects return to council in September

City Manager Dylan Feek said the library project is currently out to bid and staff held a pre-bid meeting that drew more than 20 potential respondents. "The library project is out to bid... Yesterday, we did a pre bid meeting, and we had over 20 participants in the meeting," Feek said.
Feek told the council he expects the library project to come back to the council for approval in September and that staff is finalizing bond documents and related materials ahead of that presentation. The timeline for the community center item was described as likely later in the fall.
