The Imperial County Board of Equalization denied five unconfirmed assessment-appeal applications for lack of appearance after the clerk confirmed each applicant had been properly notified. The board acted on items 8a through 8e individually; motions to deny for lack of appearance were made and seconded as called, and each item passed on a 4-0 voice vote.
The clerk read applicant names and APN numbers into the record, for example: "Item 8 A, application 2022 0 14 Prospect 23 LLC, APN number 052070085000. Applicant was properly notified seeking motion to deny due to lack of appearance." The applications addressed in this series included Prospect 23 LLC, Prospect 23 LLC (second listing), Heber Field Company/Ormat Technologies, OrCal Geothermal/Ormat Technologies, and Star Property Management LLC; the chair announced each denial as passing 4-0 with no public comment.
The denials remove those unconfirmed appeals from further consideration unless applicants subsequently request relief in accordance with county procedures and deadlines.
