Committee chair and sponsor Commissioner Shontay Avant reported that the item was sent forward without committee recommendation. Commissioner David C. Bradford Jr. said the applicant asked for more time to resolve one outstanding issue and moved to refer the matter back to committee; the motion carried without objection and the item was referred to the committee meeting on Aug. 20.
"The applicant approached me before the meeting and said that they'd like to refer this back to our next committee," Commissioner Bradford said, asking colleagues to allow staff and the applicant to complete outstanding work.
The referral means staff and committee members will have another opportunity to review the outstanding item before it returns to the full Commission.
