On Aug. 3 the Rowan City Council approved July minutes and a motion to pay the city’s monthly bills. The motion to approve and pay vouchers was made by Mark Bruns and seconded by Virgil Park; the measure passed unanimously.
Clerk Aimee Frohling presented line-item expenditures across funds. Notable items reported included S&H Environmental $1,700.00 (water superintendent, June/July), Heartland Asphalt $2,749.40 (patch on Bingham), USDA Rural Development loan payment $3,000.00, and Tower Rent $840.40. The Council also received July receipts including sales and tax revenue entries.
