Rowan’s engineering consultant, Veenstra & Kimm, presented a preliminary map of the city’s water valves during the Aug. 3 meeting. Councilmember David Eriksen agreed to meet with the engineer to fine-tune the map and identify valve locations for operational and maintenance planning.
Property owner Josh Coe asked the Council about development at 138 Main Street, saying the parcel contains two lots and that he would like to build two houses, with the house on lot 7 gaining garage access from the alley. Council members noted the alley has not been maintained as an alley; the City said staff will meet with an adjoining property owner to pursue making west access available to the lot.
