Public works reports pump repair and warranty pickup for Truck #5
Summary
Department Head Roberts reported Truck #5 had a major oil leak; O'Connors picked it up under warranty. At Rumford Point a control box was contaminated and a new panel installed to return the pump to service.
Department Head Roberts told the Select Board that Truck #5 experienced "a major oil leak" and that staff arranged for O'Connors to pick up the vehicle under warranty.
Roberts also said crews inspected the Rumford Point pumping station after a control box was found filled with water and sewage. "We had to have the put in a new panel. They were able to get the Pumping station up and running," the minutes report. Town Manager O'Keefe thanked Roberts for his work and dedication.
