Town manager: Maine Housing closing moves workforce housing project forward

Town Manager George O'Keefe told the Select Board on Jan. 23 that Maine Housing has completed a closing on 986 Prospect, the Linnell Motel site, and said officials are encouraged by progress on a workforce housing project there.
"Maine Housing closing completed with 986 Prospect at the Linnell Motel site, we are excited to see the work force housing project moving in the right direction," O'Keefe said during his manager's report, which also included mention of a Western Maine Managers Association meeting on housing and a presentation to the Charter Commission.
