Senate passes bill directing education department to report on school defibrillators

Senator Green, the senator from Boone, said Senate File 24 74 "directs the Department of Education to collect data in regards to defibrillators in school buildings and as well assess, and gather data for our schools' existing emergency plans specific to cardiac arrest or similar life threatening emergencies." He told the chamber the Department of Education shall submit the report to the General Assembly by 01/15/2027.
