Special-use permit proposed for veterinary urgent care at 2100 Center Road

"The clinic will be open seven days a week from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M., and will employ three full-time veterinarians, five registered veterinary technicians, three assistants, and four client care receptionists," Davis said. Planning/Public Service Director Duane Streator reported the Planning Commission forwarded the item to Council with a favorable 4-0 recommendation.
Council Member Mary Berges asked about hours and staffing; Davis provided the numbers above and described the facility as an intermediate option between routine veterinary visits and emergency hospital care. The proposal locates the clinic in the same plaza as Barry's Bagels on Center Road. Council did not take final action during the work session; the item remains a Planning referral for upcoming readings and a future Council decision.
