Public commenter alleges PVUSD Brown Act violations and says she has filed suit

Balayich described a recent special meeting held by PVUSD with a shortened agenda-posting window, elimination of the recording/webcast, and placement of 161 previously considered action items onto a single consent agenda item that she said channeled public comment into a single slot and confused members of the public about when they could speak. She characterized the meeting as "structured as a sham bundle designed to overwhelm public oversight." The board did not take action on the PVUSD matter during this meeting; Balayichs comments were delivered as public testimony.
