Director Lianne Reyes presented required annual resolutions specifying how Proposition 30 and 55 Education Protection Account funds will be used. She explained EPA funds are restricted to instructional purposes and shared a corrected 'blue-sheet' packet for the board’s review.
Reyes said the COE allocation will be used for instructional salaries and clarified the top-line LCFF revenue figure on the corrected form. The board adopted the COE resolution and then adopted the CAC resolution (the CAC impact estimated at approximately $43,000) by roll-call; Trustee Larson abstained on the CAC vote because he did not have the updated document available virtually.
Reyes said staff will email updated documents to remote members and proceed to document the adopted uses in the COE’s fiscal plan.
