Board honors student trustees with perpetual plaque and certificates

Dr. Farris Sabah introduced the recognition and said the board was "extremely grateful for the time and effort" the student trustees contributed. Brooke Hopkins, introduced from Educational Services, noted the year marked several firsts for student representation and presented the certificates and plaque. Trustees offered brief remarks congratulating both students for leadership and community engagement. Trustee Roth said the trustees had "created a good opening" for future student members.
The recognition included a group photograph and public thanks from trustees, who encouraged the students to remain engaged in public life. The plaque will be displayed in the COE hallway to commemorate successive student-trustee terms.
