The Rumford Board of Select Persons met March 20, 2025 at the Rumford Falls Auditorium and approved several routine municipal items and appointments. The board approved Warrant #38 and passed motions to accept a sewer-camera bid from Allied Equipment and to update the Town Hall fire alarm system with Johnson Controls, each by 5-0 votes. DiConzo moved to appoint Theresa Sax as election warden for the June 10 secret poll; the appointment passed 5-0.
The meeting included a town-manager report and department updates. Roberts announced the town's spring curbside cleanup will run April 21, 2025 to May 2, 2025 and said crews will not return to a street after they have passed it. Coulombe reported he had "sent out 92 Vacant building notices" and inspected progress on a plumbing job at 101 Hancock Street. The board also tabled an appointment related to the Poland Spring Community Benefit Fund and deferred discussion of a redemption of tax-acquired property. A series of executive sessions were held on real estate, personnel, economic development and legal counsel.
