A Shelby County committee voted to accept public improvements and release a developer’s subdivision performance bond for Stone Creek PD Phase 2. Staff read the resolution and said a letter of credit dated 04/19/2024 secured the improvements. Ahmad Namati, senior engineer with Shelby County Road/Memphis Engineering, told the committee the sanitary sewer had been inspected and approved and that administration recommended approval.
The item was moved by Commissioner Erica Sugarman and seconded in committee; the clerk read aye votes from Commissioners Sugarman, Wright and Bradford and recorded three ayes, advancing the resolution with a favorable recommendation. No substantive amendments or public opposition were recorded at committee. The vote will be reported to the full commission as a committee recommendation.
