UCCE lists trainings and names new horticulture advisor starting March 1

Michele Fisch, area director for the University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE), told the commission about upcoming training and educational offerings for producers.
Fisch said the Ag Resource Round Up is scheduled for Feb. 26, 2026, at the Mt. Pleasant Farm Bureau Hall in Lincoln, and described a 12‑week Targeted Grazing Short Course running Feb. 10 through April 21. She also announced that Ben Baldi will start as the new Horticulture and Small Farms Advisor on March 1, 2026. The training events are coordinated by UCCE staff and partner organizations; the commission received the report as information.
