Kingsbury County approves $53,915.55 engineering estimate to ready Manchester bridge for grant

County Highway Superintendent Dave Sorenson presented an engineering estimate from Civil Design, Inc. for $53,915.55 to make bridge No. 39-070-041 north of Manchester bid-ready so Kingsbury County can apply for a BIG grant. The Board approved the estimate by motion and all commissioners voted aye.
Sorenson had earlier reported that work had begun on 425th Ave and that project estimates and available revenues will determine whether additional projects proceed. Colliers Securities representative Toby Morris joined by Zoom to review funding sources, and Sorenson indicated this bridge engineering step is needed to make the project eligible for grant application.
