County Auditor Echo Steffensen presented a package of administrative items. The board authorized Ally Dakota Development to approve prudent servicing actions internally for borrowers who have received loans from the county’s Revolving Loan Fund (motion by Lee, second by Nelson). The board then approved the purchase of a laptop for absentee voting for $800 (motion by Spilde, second by Nelson) and the purchase of seven poll‑pads from Knowink LLC for $21,310, noting the county can use HAVA funds from the state for that purchase (motion by Walls, second by Nelson). All motions carried with all present voting aye.
The board also approved the county’s 2026 SDACC/NaCo dues invoice for $2,341 and reviewed insurance renewal and district meeting planning. Steffensen presented an informational invoice for lawn care but the board kept existing services.
