Council reappointed Mark Enoch to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) board for a two‑year term on June 16, 2026. The mayor said he had spoken with Mr. Enoch and that Enoch is willing to continue serving; staff characterized him as Rowlett’s long‑serving representative with regional experience.
"Mr. Enoch has been instrumental in dealing with many of the issues that we heard about with DART for the past couple of years," the mayor said, noting Enoch’s past service and familiarity with regional negotiations. On a motion by Mayor Pro Tem Bridal, seconded by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Bowers, the council approved the reappointment unanimously, 7–0.
Councilmembers encouraged Mr. Enoch and staff to arrange a DART briefing to update council on public‑safety and service matters. The appointment will carry a two‑year term as the city’s representative.
