Two firms competed for the district’s superintendent-search contract during the March 13 special meeting. Representatives of School Leaders Inc. — Jason Viloria, David Valentin, Michael Bishop and Joe Dixon — presented a five-minute plan and answered board questions. School Leaders told trustees their plan is to “get a Superintendent hired in June of 2026 with a start date of July 1.”
DFO Consulting, represented by Dr. Frank Olmos, delivered a separate five-minute presentation and also fielded questions; the minutes state DFO expects to find a superintendent in June 2026 as well. After the presentations both firms answered trustee questions and the board later voted to award the contract to School Leaders.
