Board members agreed to pursue a presence at the fire department open house on Sept. 26 (expected 11 a.m.–2 p.m.) to collect resident feedback on park priorities and to publicize the park and upcoming activities.
"We had talked about asking them if we could put a table up, and try to get input from the community about what they would like to see in the park," a member said, describing plans to distribute information and gather ideas from families attending the event. Members suggested handing out flyers, linking a short survey on the township Facebook page and posting materials on cork boards or at the community center.
Members also discussed sharing park information through the township Facebook page and noted the park page has several hundred followers; they volunteered to coordinate posts and asked a member with computer skills to create a short survey to link from social posts. The board said members will confirm logistics with Trustee Griffith and that volunteers will staff the open-house table if the township approves.
