Town approves $16,692.90 Sawyer County contract to repair Delta‑Drummond and Wisconsin avenues

The Town of Drummond voted July 14 to contract with the Sawyer County Highway Department to repair asphalt on Delta‑Drummond Road and Wisconsin Avenue. Supervisor Jeff Hurula moved the contract, Supervisor Scott McKinney seconded, and the motion carried.
Public Works Director Mark Jerome told the board Sawyer County would supply equipment and two county employees for about $16,692.90 while the town would provide the mastic asphalt mix and additional employees. The board approved the contract by motion: “Motion by Hurula, second by McKinney to contract with Sawyer County Highway Dept. for $16,692.90 to provide equipment and manpower for asphalt repair. CARRIED.”
