Japanese beetle breeding population found in Sun City Roseville; state treating about 200 properties

Huntsinger said local partners are working with homeowners and commercial property operators, including Woodcreek Oaks, to treat golf courses and other turf areas as part of an eradication and containment effort. Commissioners were advised that the Japanese beetle can damage rose bushes and a wide range of crops and that the department will continue monitoring and outreach.
