Kingsbury County keeps 2025 board appointments, depositories and official newspapers

At the Jan. 6 meeting the Kingsbury County Board reviewed its board appointment roster and voted to retain the same assignments for 2026, keeping commissioners on the same committees and liaisons as in the prior year. Commissioner Troy Nelson, Commissioner Corey Lundquist, Commissioner Roger Walls, Commissioner Kyle Lee and Commissioner Steve Spilde were recorded as supporting the motion to keep assignments unchanged.
The board also reviewed the Treasurer’s list of depositories and approved keeping the current set of banks (American Bank & Trust branches in De Smet and Iroquois, Citizens State Bank and CorTrust Bank in Arlington, First National Bank in Oldham and Lake Preston) and reaffirmed The Kingsbury Journal and The Arlington Sun as the county’s official newspapers for publishing legal notices.
