Board awards $158,091.30 greenhouse rebuild contract to Monarch Greenhouse Solutions

Tim Leffel told the board the Davis High greenhouse requires significant repairs and that the district solicited bids for the CTE-funded project.
"We'd like to recommend that the board accept Monarch Greenhouse Solutions bid in the amount of a $158,091.30," Leffel said. The board moved and seconded the contract award and approved Monarch Greenhouse Solutions at the guaranteed maximum price.
Miss Powell moved approval and Miss Price seconded; the board approved the motion by voice vote and the contract will proceed with the district27s procurement process. No amendments or alternate bidders were discussed on the record.
