At the Sept. 8 Denton Village Board meeting, maintenance lead Ross Blackledge reported that the village's drinking water treatment facility will undergo planned maintenance coordinated with WRT and that "the water treatment plant may have to be taken offline for maintenance." He said WRT will perform upcoming work on the system and that the village is seeking prices for entry gates at the wellhouse and the water tower.
Blackledge also reported the Lancaster County Sheriff's traffic trailer is expected to arrive later in the week. He listed routine operations including water sampling and working with contractors on scheduling; no dates for taking the plant offline were set at the meeting.
