Commissioners approve six finance measures, $1.31M in weekly bills and year-two opioid grant payment

The Medina County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved six finance resolutions presented by Finance Director Brett Thomas, including revenue adjustments, cash transfers, excess property disposals, expenses for county officials and the weekly bills totaling $1,309,476.72. Thomas said the revenue adjustments included a restatement of a grant moving into a different fiscal year and explained the administrative difficulty of incomplete federal and state paperwork.
Thomas also asked the board to approve the second-year payment from the county's opioid settlement distributions for a grantee known as Community Assessment and Treatment Services (Katz). "One of those, it has completed all of its requirements and is due for its 2nd funds now, and that is the community assessment and treatment services, known as Katz," Thomas said, and the board approved releasing the funds. On the weekly bills he noted, "The amount of weekly bills this week is $1,309,476.72." The measures were moved and approved on roll call.
